So, John and Clara Grace started Kindergarten. The day after they started... we moved to Columbiana! It is so wonderful. We are so close to everything! They love school and have wonderful teacher. They are still excited about school and I sure hope it stays that way. Clara Grace is already reading. I am pretty sure John can too, but he refuses to sit still long enough to show me! Rainey started K4 today and we are both super excited about that. As I write this post it is 12 noon and it seems as if I just dropped them off at school. Where does the time go. Rainey has been home with me for the past two weeks and has realized how unexciting it can be. Everyday she would ask what we were going to do and I would say..laundry and dishes! That was not the answer she wanted! Keller is doing something new it seems like daily. He rolls like crazy, tries to put everything in his mouth, eats baby food and puffs, sleeps through the night, and is just amazing!!!!! I can't explain how much I love babies. I would have 10 if I could. I would even go through all those c-sections and pregnancies. Oh wait... not gonna happen. I got my tubes tied!!! More to come....

Time is Flying By

So summer is here and we are trying to take it easy. The kids still go to pre school 3 days a week for a few hours and then we try to go to the pool or do something else "fun" as Rainey would say. Everyday she wakes up and asks, " What are we going to do fun today?"

Time is flying by.. my babies are starting to REAL Kindergarten next year, Rainey learned to write her name, and sweet Keller is getting so big. I love the fat rolls on his thighs.... why are chubby babies so cute? He has also found his thumb, but he still like the paci too! That's all for now More adventures to come!

Tooth Fairy

So Clara Grace lost her first 2 teeth about 3 months ago, but today John lost his. He is so proud!

Spring Fun

Rainey got a membership to the McWane Center for her birthday. Thanks Pop! This was our first visit and we had a blast. Keller went too. He was 2 weeks old.. he has been pretty much everywhere in his short little life.

The next day we went to Oak Mountain State Park to the beach. The weather was warm, but the water was freezing. The kids didn't seem to mind. They got in the water fully clothed! Good thing Mommy had brought extras! Keller's next exciting trip was to the zoo.. followed by his first Easter Egg Hunt. He is such a sweet boy and is such a good baby! He just goes with the flow!

Keller Powell Murray

So, Keller is here! Born March 5th at 7:44 AM. He was 8lbs and 12 oz. We had a wager with my OB.. She though he would be 8 lbs even.. William thought he would be 8lbs 3 oz.. and I thought he would be 8lbs 8 oz... I was closest! Since this was my first scheduled C- section, I was super anxious and very nervous. William and spent the night before at the Hampton Inn in Oxford and tried to get some sleep. We had to be at the hospital at 5Am on D day. Everything was very organized and ready to go when I arrived. It took them a while to get the epidural in place which was not a pleasant experience! Once we were in the OR things went very quickly. Keller was a little stubborn and took some extra help to get him out! He had some feeding issues until my milk came in on day 4.. he had lost 1 lb 2 oz by then ..so I was pumping as much as I could to get my supply up to par. No formula for this little man!

After 5 days in the hospital, we headed home to a house of six! Things were a little crazy the first few days, but the rest of the kids started their new pre-school that week which helped out a lot. They love their new school and cannot wait for Spring Break to be over so they can go back. Keller eats about every2 hours during the day and about every three hours at night. William has been sleeping with Rainey since we got home, so at least one of use can get some sleep! We just started using the "Miracle Blanket" and he has been in his cradle for the last two nights!!! He is a great eater, so I am hoping his weight is back up to 8 lb 12 by out appointment next Thursday.

My plans are far from God's plans!

So I had everything figured out. I had a few more weeks of misery left, I had everything arranged for the kids when the baby came, and a C section date! So much for having a plan.

We are moving to Calera.... well actually William will be working at Columbiana First Methodist as their new Youth Pastor! Over the last few months William began casually looking for a new job. He got an offer that was just too good to pass up! After much prayer over leaving family, friends, youth group, and an incredible church family.. we decided to accept the position! Many tears, many nights talking to William, and unending prayer til long after my bedtime..it has become clear that the Holy Spirit is leading us to Columbiana. So my plan is out the window. We accepted the position on Jan. 24th and just two weeks later...this coming Monday we will be moving! Things have been chaotic! But thanks to my dear friends, Val, we are almost done packing and ready to go. So move to Calera... and then come back to Anniston to have a baby 3 weeks later... that is if Keller goes along with the plan. At the rate I am going... it is unlikely! I am still planning and I am sure God is getting a good laugh out of it!
Deep breath time. We have a lot of things going on this weekend that are super exciting: out very last Sunday School Party, Keller's Baby Shower, our last Sunday morning worship, and a Youth Super Bowl Party! Whew! Maybe some sleep in there too! Hopefully!
